Terms of Service
Last updated: April 10, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before creating an account or using Codevensiva. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Evensiva Technologies ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the Codevensiva platform, including all associated websites, mobile applications, APIs, and services (collectively, the "Service").
By registering for an account, signing in via a third-party provider, or otherwise using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age of consent in your jurisdiction), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them and our Privacy Policy.
2. Account Registration & Security
Email sign-up. When you register with an email address, you must provide your first name, last name, a unique username, a valid email address, and a password of at least 8 characters. We send a one-time password (OTP) to your email address and your account is only created after successful OTP verification. Unverified pending registrations are discarded after 10 minutes.
Third-party (OAuth) sign-up. You may register or sign in using your Google or GitHub account. When you do, the respective provider shares your name, email address, and profile identifier with us, subject to your privacy settings on that platform.
Username. Your username must be between 3 and 32 characters and may contain letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-). Usernames are case-insensitively unique across the platform. You may not impersonate another person or use an offensive or misleading username.
Sign-in. You may sign in using either your registered email address or your username together with your password. You may also sign in via Google or GitHub if your account is linked to that provider.
Two-factor authentication (2FA). We offer optional TOTP-based 2FA. Once enabled, each sign-in from an unrecognised session requires a valid time-based code. You are responsible for safeguarding your 2FA secret and recovery codes.
Account security. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Permitted & Prohibited Use
You may use the Service for lawful learning, practice, and collaboration purposes consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service at scale without our prior written consent.
- Upload, post, or transmit content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations, including account suspension or termination and referral to law enforcement where warranted.
4. Intellectual Property
The platform, its design, codebase, question banks, editorial content, and all associated materials (excluding user-generated content) are owned by or licensed to Evensiva Technologies and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership right in the Service or its content.
You retain ownership of original content you submit (e.g. forum posts, code, comments). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
5. Email Communications
By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails necessary to operate the Service, including OTP verification codes, password-reset links, security alerts, and account notifications. Transactional emails cannot be opted out of while your account is active, as they are essential to the security and operation of the Service.
We use a third-party email delivery provider (currently Resend) to send transactional emails on our behalf. That provider processes your email address solely for delivery; see our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Third-Party Services & Providers
The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Google and GitHub for OAuth authentication, and Resend for transactional email. Your use of those providers is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of those services.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience only and do not constitute our endorsement of those sites.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice, and we will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuance.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Evensiva Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 10.
9. Changes & Termination
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion is governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Evensiva Technologies is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
11. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, please use the contact details provided on the platform or reach out via your account settings. For privacy-related requests, see our Privacy Policy.
